The alpine city Landeck is the central locality for Tyrol West and an important crossing point. The “Schloss Landeck”,castle Landeck is the landmark, which gave the city its name, it now houses the District Museum.

The upper Inntal district city was settled in the Bronze Age and has always been an important traffic junction. Just as the 2000 year old Via Claudia Augusta proves, the central location is a main juncture for the Upper Inntal, Paznauntal (Ischgl), Stanzertal (Arlberg) and the Fernpass Route. This opens up a whole dimension of activities and trips that are available to you.
