Zammer Lochputz (natural ravine)

The “Zammerloch”, is a roaring waterfall that has fascinated us with its appeal for over a hundred years, in the years past people with horse and carriage made their way here to view this natural spectacle, with its cascading waterfall, it doesn’t cease to impress us.

The wild natural beauty, and the mysteries of the Zammer Lochputz have been kept hidden, and have only been partially exhibited to those climbers who have needed a portion of bravery to descend with their ropes into the ravine.

Today, everyone can walk the tunnels, steep paths, and bridges that lead through the spraying waters that have washed over the stone walls for hundreds of years and have landscaped what is now the mystical Zammer Lochputz. It continues to impress us with its beauty, it is stimulating viewing one of “Tyrols wild waters”.
