We would like to share a little about the Landeck Castle, which is our district City Landeck’s landmark.
When the Landeck Castle received authorization from the Office for protection of historical monuments many of the original components were fully restored ( Lobby, Chapel, and Courtroom) the remaining rooms were restored but would be utilized later.
Today the Landeck Castle is a monument for our City, The district Museum, and the Cultural Center.

Landeck Castle
Museum, “Stay or go, the moving tale of Upper Tyrol”. A habitat Museum, of another class. It allows the guests to immerse themselves in the 13th Century, in the story of our forefathers and their fight to survive. Our story is told at the Landeck Schloss
Museum in Fliess
Archaeological museum and Documentary centre Via Claudia. In one of the oldest and one of the most modern houses in Fliess you can uncover stories, the 2 museums on the Via Claudia Augusta make it possible.
Pfunds Museum
The Pfunds museum is found in a Farm house built in the 14th Century. The installations in the house have been kept original and impart a vital insight into the rustic working and living conditions of our ancestors. In 2002 the museum received an award of Recognition from the Province Tyrol.
