Declaration on accessibility
We endeavour to make our website accessible in accordance with the Accessibility Act as amended to implement the European Accessibility Directive (EU) RL 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements of products and services.
This declaration on accessibility applies to www.aktiv-camping.at
Note: This accessibility statement relates exclusively to our website. It makes no statement about the structural accessibility of our premises.
Status of compliance with the requirements
This website is partially compliant with conformance level AA of the ‘Web Content Accessibility Guidelines - WCAG 2.2’ or with the applicable European standard EN 301 549 due to the following incompatibilities and/or exceptions.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not yet accessible for the following reasons:
a) Incompatibility with accessibility regulations
1.1.1 - This success criterion is currently not fully met, as the website contains a large number of images that still lack alternative descriptions. We are constantly working on adding these captions.
1.3.1 - Some visually highlighted text areas are not programmatically labelled as headings. The heading structure is being optimised step by step.
1.3.2 - Certain content is not displayed in the logical order, which can lead to problems with assistive technologies.
1.3.3 - Individual links or buttons are only differentiated by colour, which means that the success criterion is not met.
1.3.4 - The page requires horizontal scrolling from certain screen sizes, which does not meet the requirements.
1.3.5 - Some form fields - especially in the contact form - do not contain ‘autocomplete’ attributes and therefore do not fulfil the criterion.
1.4.1 - Links, for example in continuous text or navigation, are sometimes only highlighted in colour. This does not fulfil the success criterion.
1.4.3 - Some texts and graphic elements do not meet the required contrast ratios. Optimisation is planned.
1.4.5 - Images with text content or badges are used that have no textual alternative.
1.4.10 - At a zoom level of 200%, horizontal scrolling or cut-off content may occur.
2.2.2 - Some videos do not have controls to pause or stop.
2.4.1 - Skip links to skip recurring content are not available.
2.4.3 - The order of keyboard navigation is sometimes illogical or gets lost when closing elements.
2.4.4 - Some links and buttons are not sufficiently described and therefore not clearly identifiable for screen readers.
2.4.6 - Headings and form elements are not always clearly or descriptively labelled.
2.5.3 - In some cases, visible labelling of control elements is missing, which is reflected in the accessible name.
2.5.8 - Some buttons or clickable elements are smaller than the recommended minimum size of 24 x 24 pixels.
3.1.1 - The language of the website is not reliably recognised by assistive technologies.
3.3.1 - Incorrect inputs are not clearly recognised or described as such.
3.3.2 - Form elements are not consistently labelled or explained.
3.3.3 - No specific instructions are given for correcting errors.
4.1.2 - Not all buttons or interactive elements communicate their status (e.g. expanded or selected) correctly programmatically.
4.1.3 - Changes such as progress indicators or errors are not automatically communicated to assistive technologies.
b) Disproportionate load
1.2.1 - Embedded videos are hosted and published on the YouTube platform and by the TVB. For some of these videos, no transcripts or content descriptions are currently available.
1.2.2 - Some embedded YouTube videos and TVB videos do not have subtitles, making important content inaccessible to deaf users. The success criterion is therefore not met.
1.2.3 - Audio descriptions cannot currently be provided for certain embedded YouTube videos and TVB videos.
1.2.4 - Live videos are embedded via third-party providers. Subtitles are not available in all cases. In addition, live videos are excluded in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
1.2.5 - Audio descriptions are not available for some embedded videos. Due to the disproportionate effort involved, there are currently no plans to improve this.
1.4.2 - Some media content with a running time of more than 3 seconds does not have controls for pausing or adjusting the volume.
c) The content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legal provisions
Older documents and content that are not accessible are available on the website. As these were published before 28 June 2025, they are exempt from the Accessibility Act and no comprehensive change is currently planned for them.
The website contains documents and content from third-party providers that are neither developed, financed nor controlled by us. No statement can be made regarding the compatibility of this third-party content with the accessibility provisions and it is therefore also exempt from the requirements of the Accessibility Act.
Preparation of the accessibility statement
This declaration was created on 04/04/25.
